if we have a 1.7.2 mamp pro license, is it a free upgrade?

Hi there..
According to php.net, php v. 5.3.0 is the current stable version since June 30, 2009.
So... Any reason why MAMP does not include PHP 5.3.0?
Thanks!
Hi, thank you for this fix! I'm happy it's back. :)
PS Can you put the MAMP version on the startup page? For example, "version 1.8.2" maybe in the footer
As someone else asked, any reason why this does not include PHP 5.3? (And any reason why you don't reply to comments?)
Ditto with the PHP 5.3 question - there has now even been a maintenance / bug fix / stability release to 5.3.1.
cant wait to use anonimous functions with 5.3. Please, please, please, Mamp it up!
same here, have been waiting for nearly 2 years for MAMP with 5.3
snow lep has 5.3 built-in, time to drop mamp, has been useful but they have a hard time keeping up, a bit like Apple and Java SDK....
We are just testing (internal) a new Version (1.9) of MAMP with PHP 5.3 ...
