  2. I have WP running on my MAMP PRO install, but the FTP settings are not correct.

    I was trying to install and remove plug-ins, I started with just removing "Hello Dolly" but I got this error.

    "Error: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct."

    My settings:
    Hostname: localhost
    FTP Username: root
    FTP Password: root
    Connection Type: ftp


    Are these the correct settings?
