2. Backup your old MAMP and MAMP PRO data (just for security reasons)
3. Open the Installer and follow the instructions.
You don´t have to remove your old version of MAMP & MAMP PRO. But as always, we would suggest to backup both.
If everything goes well, your projects and preferences will automatically be restored by the installer of MAMP PRO 2.0.

Will 1.x still being maintained/updated please? As 2.x is 10.6+ only.

There was a problem with the POSTFIX configuration. It was not possible to save the POSTFIX settings.

ReplyDeleteFollowed instructions to update to MAMP 2.1.2 as indicated, and start page loads fine. But when trying to load local sites, browsers cannot connect to localhost. I continually get the following message:
