Your MAMP Team
LOVE YOUR SERVERS!

Sound okay, but I'd like to see screenshots of the DockMenu, can you post them please?
ReplyDeleteThank you!
As a loyal customer of MAMP for 4 years now, why am I being charged to upgrade to 2.0?
ReplyDeleteAnd as a loyal Apple customer, why are you being charged $29 to upgrade to Lion? Development costs time. Time must be paid. Live with it.
ReplyDeleteWow, you're shitting me. $30 for what's essentially a bundle of free open source software.
ReplyDeleteBut it's a very fine bundle. Pro quality for pros :)
ReplyDeleteVery useful package and a another new version, waouh!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it would be possible to include Imagick in the standard MAMP package. Some websites give methods to install Imagick, but it is rather difficult and it didn't work for me with MAMP 1.9.6 version and OsX 10.6.8.
Thank you.
REALLY??? YOU GUYS ARE CHARGING $30 FOR AN UPGRADE???? BASICALLY YOU GUYS TOOK OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE AND BUNDLED IT UP IN ONE PACKAGE!!!
ReplyDeleteBAD BUSINESS MOVE, I DOUBT PEOPLE WILL BE UPGRADING..
if you're a "pro", you're making money using the software. pay your due, or bundle it up on your own...
ReplyDeleteI second the bundling of imagick. It would make it worthwhile for me to pay for this in the package. I'll stick to the free version until this is possible.
ReplyDeleteI'm having problems post upgrade with MySql not starting.
ReplyDeleteThe fix (not ideal) is:
1) quit MAMP
2) Open Terminal, type:
killall -9 mysqld
3) Open MAMP.
Of course, it'd be much easier if MAMP worked as it did pre upgrade....
if you are using lion, need to disconnect your internet before running your php project using MAMP
ReplyDeleteCan't change Drupal theme configuration, if i made any change then i hit the save button the change will not save and i get timeout error message. any help?

ReplyDeleteThis is most certainly NOT Lion Compatible when you cant set it to auto start Apache/MySQL on boot!
